Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis has his sights set on a new project in Let the Right One In, but TNT has decided to shop around.

Teen Wolf is coming to a close later this year when MTV airs the back half of season 6. Davis already has several projects in the works, including another project at MTV based off War of the Worlds.

Let the Right One In shows considerable promise, but according to Deadline, TNT has passed on the pilot and is looking to have another network pick it up.

Rest assured that this does not mean the series is dead. If another network likes the premise well enough, Davis could find a new home elsewhere.

However, it does mean there’s a possibility that some aspects of the show could change. In October, we learned the main character had been cast, but if the new network is looking for something different, she could be replaced — as could anyone else attached.

But until we learn more, we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed that someone else will take a risk on Davis’ vision for Let the Right One In.
