In a new interview, Executive Producer Jeff Davis has commented on some of the pairings we saw in the mid-season finale of Teen Wolf.

The interview comes via ET Online. During it, Davis talked about several relationships — both new and old — and how they may unfold in the second half of season 3.

The first one he discussed was Lydia and Aiden. It’s been an interesting season for Lydia, having been sneaking off with Aiden, then kissing Stiles, and then deciding that she did actually care for Aiden. The problem is that Lydia and Aiden haven’t exactly been fighting on the same side since they first met.

“It’s going to create difficulties between Lydia and Aiden because she’s going to see herself as one of the good guys; someone who can do something good with her powers, whereas Aiden has typically been bad,” Davis said. This is obviously going to put them in a rocky position, and Davis has stated that Lydia is going to really struggle with whether or not she should be with Aiden.

Will Aiden’s twin brother, Ethan, fair any better when it comes to Danny? Maybe not. Davis says, “Their relationship will certainly evolve, and it starts to affect everything. I can say that it may not end happily for one of them.”

That definitely makes us worried for Danny, who is a fan favorite character. We also have to wonder if Davis’ hint that their relationship will “affect everything” means that Danny could find out about the supernatural soon.

Isaac and Allison have been wordlessly courting each other the last few episodes, which finally came to a head in “Alpha Pact” when Deaton told Isaac he would be the one to hold Allison under the water and then call her back.

Scott put on a brave face, but it was obvious their blossoming relationship hurt him. So, what’s in store for those three? “It’s going to be impossible,” Davis says, talking about the fact that Isaac will be living at Scott’s house and dating his ex. “And it’s addressed right in the first episode through some funny scenes.”

Jeff Davis discussed much more in the interview, from Derek’s mission once he left Beacon Hills, Peter’s intentions, and even if we’ll see a time jump between the two parts of season 3.
