Jason Momoa is persistent with his projects, we’ll give him that. Not only has he announced that he’s written a Conan the Barbarian sequel to continue the franchise, but now he’s admitted that he has actually written new scenes for Drogo on Game of Thrones and sent them to the producers.

Momoa tells New York Magazine that while his character Khal Drogo was killed off in the first series, and does not return in any of the subsequent George R.R. Martin novels, “It’s is a fantasy world,” and there are therefore several ways for him to get back on the show.

While Momoa has not read any of the novels except A Game of Thrones, he says there are several ways for him to return – like maybe he has a secret twin? At any rate, Momoa’s shared some of his ideas with the producers:

There’s a possibility you’ll see me do him again. I wrote some scenes and they might try to use them.

Of course, it’s little wonder that Momoa would try to return; the role propelled him to fame, and fans loved him as Drogo. He also admits that he “loved” the character of Drogo, and shows some interesting insight into the character:

He was the best guy. And I loved watching him fall in love. Of all the characters, he was the least backstabbing. He didn’t say a lot, but his s– got handled.

So, Throne Gamers (…no?), did you love Momoa on Game of Thrones and think some cameo returns would be awesome, or do you think the term “flogging a dead horse” would be pretty perfect in this particular situation?
