Briefly: Jason Bateman will reportedly make his animated feature film debut in a new project he is working on with Walt Disney Studios Animation.

The animated project is said to be directed by Bolt and Tangled helmer Byron Howard and puts Bateman in the lead role. The film centers on animals, says The Hollywood Reporter.

No other details are available at this time. Bateman has been in the headlines recently thanks to the return of his beloved television show Arrested Development. New episodes premiere exclusively on Netflix at the end of May. He’s also taken on several live action film roles. Most recently he starred in Identity Thief opposite Melissa McCarthy. Next year he’ll be seen in Horrible Bosses 2.

Next up out of Walt Disney Animation Studios is their film Frozen, based on The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. Very few images or videos have been shared from the project despite a release this November. The lead roles will be voiced by Jonathan Groff, Kristen Bell, and Idina Menzel.
