Jane Lynch let it slip that pop star Cheryl Cole will be appearing on Glee in season 4.

We’re 2 months away from Glee season 4 premiere and we’ve already got a load of guest stars confirmed! This time, Digital Spy is reporting that Jane Lynch has confirmed Cheryl Cole as being a part of Glee in season 4 in a pretty big way:

“There’s been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it’s set to happen now. Matthew Morrison has spoken very highly of her [after she appeared in his film What To Expect When You’re Expecting] and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on, for obvious reasons. Matthew’s chatted to her and she seems keen. Cheryl’s the perfect ‘Glee’ fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself.”

Jane says that Cheryl better watch out because Sue Sylvester will not hold back:

“She might be used to getting treated like a princess but Sue Sylvester doesn’t make exceptions for anybody. If Cheryl starts acting like a diva, she’ll see that Sue is meaner than Simon Cowell.”

What are your thoughts about Cheryl Cole joining Glee?

Thanks to Dillon for the tip.
