SNL has just announced the hosts and musical guests of its final three shows of 2014 which include James Franco, Martin Freeman and One Direction just to name a few!

It seems like SNL’s record 40th season just started but we’re already getting details about the final episodes before its usual holiday hiatus.

In a press release sent out today, NBC has announced the following hosts and musical guests to round out 2014:

December 6 – James Franco and Nicki Minaj
December 13 – Martin Freeman and Charlie XCX
December 20 – Amy Adams and One Direction

Franco will be making his third appearance as host and will be starring alongside friend Seth Rogen (who will surely make an appearance during this episode) in the film The Interview which hits theaters on Christmas Day. Nicki Minaj’s new album The Pinkprint will be released on December 15.

Martin Freeman will be making his hosting debut on SNL in December. Freeman stars in The Hobbit with the final installment The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies being released on December 17. Charlie XCX is best known for her cameo appearance on this summer’s massive hit “Fancy” with Iggy Azalea.

Oscar nominee Amy Adams, who will be seen in the movie Big Eyes, will host the final episode of the year alongside heart throbs One Direction. This will be the third time One Direction will have appeared as musical guests on SNL.

SNL returns this weekend with a brand new episode featuring Cameron Diaz and musical guest Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson.
