With Daniel Craig signed on for one more James Bond film after Spectre, it makes sense that the two movies would be linked.

With filming officially underway, plot details about the upcoming Bond 24 film titled Spectre are beginning to leak out.

Yesterday we saw the first still from the film and a short behind-the-scenes video, but not all news about the new movie is quite as official.

Film Divider has reported an interesting rumor from Bond movie insiders, who claim that Spectre is actually the first half of a two-part story.

While the writer cautions that script rewrites may have changed this plan, it seems likely that Daniel Craig’s final two rounds as James Bond (unless he signs on for more) would tie together as a single story.

However, if nothing else, “This film will absolutely, definitely leave us waiting for a sequel.”

Perhaps it’ll be similar to Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, which told separate stories, while Solace still had Bond deal with the fallout of what happened in Royale.

Several of the actors introduced in Spectre are expected to return for Bond 25, but we’re still waiting to hear whether director Sam Mendes is up for another round.

‘James Bond: Spectre’ premieres Nov. 6, 2015
