The She-Hulk series at Disney+ has found its newest cast member in Jameela Jamil.

According to Variety, The Good Place alum Jameela Jamil is the latest notable name to join the cast of She-Hulk at Disney+.

The upcoming live-action series finds Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, taking center stage after she inherits his powers following a blood transfusion.

Jennifer’s Hulk differs from that of Bruce’s in the sense that she’s still able to maintain much of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control— even after transforming into She-Hulk.

Jamil joins previously announced cast member Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), who will star in the Marvel Series as the titular She-Hulk.

Others who’ve also signed on to star in the Disney+ original series include Renee Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga, Tim Roth, and Mark Ruffalo, who will reprise his MCU role as Bruce Banner.

Unfortunately, those curious about who Jameela Jamil will play on the series will have to sit tight. While sources say she’s been tapped to take on a major role in She-Hulk, specifics surrounding her character are keeping kept under wraps for now.

Behind the camera, Rick and Morty vet Jessica Gao will serve as showrunner, and writer on the series. Gao will in turn be joined by Kat Corio (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), who has been tapped to serve as director and executive producer on the project.

Currently there’s no word on when we might expect to see She-Hulk debut via Disney+.
