The Oscars has enlisted comedic actor Jack Black to perform at this year’s show. But what will he be doing?

The 87th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 22, with Neil Patrick Harris as host. Apart from the expected host sketches, Harris is also set to perform an original song by the Frozen songwriters.

And now, the Academy has announced that former Oscars presenter Jack Black will be making “a special appearance” at the ceremony, which is shrouded in secrecy.

“Jack Black is a complete original comic voice and we’re beyond thrilled that he has agreed to join the Oscars show in a very special sequence,” show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have stated.

Black hasn’t been a part of the Oscars ceremony since 2009, where he presented an award. In 2004, Black partnered up with Will Ferrell for this “Get Off the Stage” number:

We’re very curious to see what Jack Black will come up with this time, more than 10 years later!

In related news, last year’s Oscar winners Cate Blanchett, Jared Leto, Matthew McConaughey and Lupita Nyong’o will all be back as presenters this year. Musicians Common and John Legend, who are nominated for Best Original Song (they teamed up for Selma‘s “Glory”), will also be performing at the show.
