Jack Black and Ice Cube could soon be sharing the silver screen.

According to Deadline, Jack Black is currently in talks to star in the upcoming Sony Pictures comedy, Oh Hell No.

If Black officially signs on, he’ll star opposite Ice Cube in the forthcoming comedy.

Unfortunately, details surrounding who they’d play in the feature are scarce. Similarly, plot details or the movie are being kept shrouded in secrecy for the time being.

Behind the camera, Oh Hell No is set to be directed by Kitao Sakurai.

Sakurai is no stranger to the world of comedy. The director’s previous credits include helming and serving as an executive producer on Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show. In addition, he also directed and served as a co-writer on the Netflix original comedy, Bad Trip starring Eric Andre and Tiffany Haddish.

On the writing front, Scot Armstrong, Tracy Oliver, Jessica Gas, and Rodney Rothman are all set to team up to write the script for Oh Hell No.

Producers on the project include Matt Tolmach, Jack Black, and Roz Music.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Oh Hell No starring Jack Black and Ice Cube hit the big screen.
