Harry Potter and Casual Vacancy author J.K. Rowling has listed her eight-bedroom Edinburgh home for sale.

It’s unclear how long she’s been out of the home, but the Washington Post reports that Rowling wrote several of the Potter books while living there with her husband and three children. The listing describes the property as “an exceptional detached family house standing within a large yet discreet landscaped and walled garden.”

The house was listed for 2.25 million pounds which equals $3.7 million.

This property is not to be confused with her current home where she’s building two tree houses for her children that strikingly look inspired by her own Harry Potter stories. The tree house plans look exciting but worried neighbors who were concerned they’d obstruct their own views of the land. The City of Edinburgh sided with Rowling, after all. Rowling’s first post-Potter book The Casual Vacancy will be released September 27, and the author has numerous events planned to celebrate and promote the publication.
