J.K. Rowling is heading stateside for her only U.S. stop to promote her first adult novel The Casual Vacancy.

As the Associated Press reports, Rowling will discuss her newest novel with author Ann Patchett and about 1,100 lucky fans at New York City’s Jazz at Lincoln Center Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. She’s also set to sign copies of her novel, out Sept. 27, for each audience member.

The Harry Potter author will be interviewed by Patchett, author of Bel Canto and The Magician’s Assistant, and take audience questions during the event that will be live streamed in bookstores across the country, according to Little, Brown.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 10 with prices starting at $37 for tickets bought at the Jazz at Lincoln Center box office, $43 for those bought online and $44 for phone purchases.
