Here’s another J.K. Rowling interview to look forward to later this month to promote the release of her first adult novel, The Casal Vacancy.

Rowling will speak to Mark Lawson on BBC’s Radio 4 from 7:15 – 7:45 PM GMT on Thursday, September 27. According to the BBC’s website, the interview will focus on “the inspiration for her new novel The Casual Vacancy, and also reflects on the Olympic opening ceremony, the effects of her success with Harry Potter – and whether she will return to her most famous character.”

We imagine Rowling will be asked multiple times throughout her publicity blitz about whether or not she’ll return to Harry Potter, and sadly we think she won’t be giving any exciting hints while she’s busy promoting an entirely different book.

This is the thirteenth event Rowling has set to promote her post-Potter novel. You can see a complete list of events (so far!) in our Casual Vacancy Hub. On the same day as this BBC Radio 4 interview, Rowling will be hosting a live event at Queen Elizabeth Hall.

The Casual Vacancy will be released September 27. We’ll be sure to bring this J.K. Rowling interview to you when it surfaces online. It’s going to be a fun couple of weeks for fans of Rowling to hear all these new interviews, and we hope to hear some interesting revelations!

Thanks, Snitch Seeker.
