Liv’s love life takes a surprising turn as she hunts for the head of the original zombie in iZombie season 1, episode 11, “Astroburger.”

On the last episode of iZombie, Liv mourned Lowell’s death by drinking in excess. She was able to solve the murder of the journalist helping out Major, revealing a conspiracy behind the Max Rager energy drink company. In a climatic battle on a boat, Liv thought she’d killed her attacker, but it turns out that Sebastian is also a zombie. That should be a fun rematch!

In the trailer for “Astroburger,” Liv and Major kiss, entangling the once-lovers yet again.

The synopsis of “Astroburger” reveals that it is believed Scott E. killed himself.

When someone close to Major (Robert Buckley) dies of an apparent suicide, Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brains resulting in a mix of reality and paranoia. Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) questions Major and learns of a secret computer file that may contain important details in the investigation — and finding the killer. David Anders and Rahul Kohli also star.

In a clip from tonight’s episode, Peyton has Ravi over for takeout and to watch Vertigo, which obviously is too much love for Liv to handle right now.

In an inside look at tonight’s episode, it’s revealed that Liv will be paranoid from Scott E.’s brain, and that the deceased was also at the same Lake Washington party that Liv attended in the pilot. Could Scott E.’s death have occurred because someone didn’t want him to spill the beans on the Seattle zombie outbreak?

Stills of tonight’s episode show Blaine talking to Suzuki (Clive’s boss), along with a man that looks a lot like Scott E. talking to Clive and Liv before the former dies.

Counting tonight’s episode, there are only three episodes left in iZombie season one. Our prediction? Liv will take off Blaine’s head, but someone close to Liv will die (and we don’t just mean turn into a zombie) in the process.

iZombie airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
