iZombie season 1, episode 5, “Fight of the Living Dead” will have James play an adrenaline junkie Liv meets during her investigation of a skydiving accident.
In an interview with Hypable, iZombie showrunner Diane Ruggerio spoke of James’ character Lowell Casey with passion. “He’s playing a musician — so imagine taking the adorability and the hotness of [Bradley] on Merlin and then turning him into, like, this rocker type and it’s just kind of like he’s a dream come true.”

Calling any role James plays a dream come true is okay in our books! We’ve missed seeing him on our TV ever since Merlin ended, so tonight’s episode should be a great treat.
And as if having James in this episode wasn’t enough, Dick Casablancas himself of Veronica Mars fame will also guest star in this episode. Ryan Hansen has done recent work with Rob Thomas in The CW Seed’s Play It Again, Dick, and also reprised his role of Dick in the recent Veronica Mars movie. Hansen’s character is described as “professional snowboarder Carson McComb, a murder suspect who appears to be hiding a secret.”

In this episode of iZombie, Liv will be investigating the recent death of her sorority sister Holly. Holly was into extreme sports, but fell victim to a skydiving accident that may not have been as accidental as it initially appears.
