A few weeks ago we told you that The Hunger games had appeared to have been given a PG-13 rating. Now the MPAA has officially made the announcement, including the reasoning behind it!
The weekly MPAA ratings bulletin reads:
The Hunger Games
Rated PG-13 For intense violent thematic material and disturbing images – all involving teens.
Based on this rating, it doesn’t look like the brutality of the books has been toned down too much. Are you pleased?
