Iron Man 3’s DVD/Blu-ray release date has been revealed for U.S. fans, which we now know will be after the U.K. release date.

Normally we’ll see a film’s DVD/Blu-ray release date almost exactly five months after the film’s theatrical release. And it appears as though Marvel will follow suit with Iron Man 3’s U.S. DVD/Blu-ray release date.

Iron Man 3 is the next massively sought after DVD/Blu-ray, and we found out through an Iron Man 3 Blu-ray trailer that the official DVD/Blu-ray release date for the U.K is September 9.

Now Marvel has officially announced that the U.S. release date for Iron Man 3’s DVD/Blu-ray is September 24. They’ve also released some information regarding the details of what special features will be included in Iron Man 3’s Blu-ray combo pack. Click on the box art below to view it in HD:

    Fans can also purchase a Digital version of Iron Man 3 on September 3, if you can’t wait until the DVD/Blu-ray officially hits U.S. stores on September 24.

    There was some controversy with The Avengers DVD/Blu-ray U.K. release last year, with it not including Joss Whedon’s commentary due to it coming out earlier and also censoring the scene where Loki stabs Agent Coulson with his scepter.

    We thought Marvel may have decided this year to release the film as close as possible all around the world, but it appears that they intend to separate the the two Iron Man 3 DVD/Blu-ray release dates similar to what they did with The Avengers.

    What we know for certain is that the official Iron Man 3 DVD/Blu-ray release date for the U.K. is September 9, and now we know that the official U.S. release date for Iron Man 3’s DVD/Blu-ray is set for September 24.
