The first Iron Man 3 trailer will be released on October 23 and now the studio has released the full synopsis for the film which reveals that Tony Stark is headed for a world of destruction by the hands of his enemies.

Do you feel that? Yeah…it’s the promotional juggernaut that is Marvel Studios and their next comic smash hit Iron Man 3.

With Robert Downey Jr. becoming arguably the most bankable star in Hollywood, they’re going to be throwing out the cash to promote the next Iron Man film and we can’t blame them. Just yesterday they started an official Facebook promotion to get fans involved in unlocking the trailer which will finally be released next Tuesday. The more “Likes” the official Iron Man Facebook page gets, the quicker we will get a sneak preview of the Iron Man 3 trailer.

Today, we get our first look at the official Iron Man 3 plot synopsis, which tells us quite a few things about the new film. From Tony Stark’s personal world being destroyed (rumor: his house gets blown up), to embarking on a “harrowing” quest to protect those closest to him (Pepper). He ends up asking the question: “Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?”
