Aside from the seeming spoilers that we won’t see the end of Black Widow or Pepper Pots in The Avengers (and no word yet if Lt. Rhodes will make an appearance as War Machine), how else do you see these characters evolving in Iron Man 3? We know that Black Widow was posing as Tony Stark’s new assistant, and that’s how she found her way into Iron Man 2. Now that the cat’s out of the bag about her being a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, why would she be back?
