Disney and Marvel studios have released their plans for the upcoming superhero movie.
With The Avengers production wrapping up, Marvel Studios has planned out their 2013 lineup, with Iron Man 3 set to be released on May 3rd.
Jon Favreau will not return to direct the third installment of Iron Man, instead Shane Black, who worked with Robert Downy Jr. on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, is set to helm the film.
With Captain America to be released on July 22nd, The Avengers on May 4th, 2012, The Amazing Spider-Man on July 3rd, 2012, and Thor 2 set for July 26th, 2013, it looks like Disney and Marvel have set up a great lineup.
With the news of Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 to be released in summer 2013, it looks like we won’t see Captain America 2 until at least summer 2014.
