A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has just been released.

Interstellar’s first trailer landed back in May and now we have an epic new trailer. Check it out above.

In the latest trailer we see Matthew McConaughey making his big galactic journey and taking on a stellar new enemy: A giant mountain wave. Other stars like Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine also appear in this big preview as McConaughey and Hathaway’s characters leave our solar system.

This trailer also reveals that the film will be hitting IMAX theaters two days early on November 5.

While we’ve seen a bit of this footage before, it’s exciting to get another look at director Chris Nolan’s latest epic.

The film has an unbelievably talented cast including McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Ellen Burstyn, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Bill Irwin, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo and John Lithgow. Even Matt Damon will have a small role in the film.

McConaughey spoke in February about the film and said it finished filming early.

“Here’s what I can tell you. It’s the most ambitious thing he’s ever done. And he’s done some ambitious stuff,” McConaughey told Variety about director Christopher Nolan. “There’s no fucking around on set. He’s a great problem solver. In that way, he’s very indie. Here’s a guy who could have whatever budget he wants — and we finished shooting early.”

It’s a very good sign to hear that filming on Interstellar finished early. Not only does this mean that filming went by without too many hiccups, but it also means that they were happy enough with the footage they got and they were able to tell everyone to pack up and go home before they had to.

The new Interstellar trailer looks remarkable and we can’t wait until it hits theaters November 7, 2014.
