The Divergent sequel Insurgent will begin filming in Chicago this May, according to the production company.

Red Wagon Entertainment made note of the planned start date when announcing a new VP of film and TV earlier this week.

The news aligns with recent reports that Summit was aiming to begin filming in the spring to meet the March 20, 2015 release date they’ve already set for Insurgent.

The start of production may be a bit tricky for stars Shailene Woodley (Tris) and Ansel Elgort (Caleb) who will have to promote their roles in The Fault in Our Stars around that same time, because the book to film adaptation of John Green’s young adult novel hits theaters June 6, 2014.

Insurgent already has a screenwriter working on the script, but it does not have a director. Neil Burger decided to not return for film two because he’s too busy finishing up Divergent.

Summit has also set a release date for the third (and final) film Allegiant: March 18, 2016. The source material hit store shelves in 2013.

Meanwhile, the first film in the Divergent trilogy starring Woodley, Theo James (Four), and Kate Winslet (Jeanine Matthews) is set for release this March 21. The final trailer was released earlier this week.

The dystopian series is based on the books of the same names by author Veronica Roth. All three books have consistently floated atop best-selling books lists in recent months, indicating that there’s a lot of anticipation for the movie adaptations thanks to good word of mouth and a hunger for another big franchise.
