Our emotions can finally start having feelings about Inside Out! A 2 1/2 minute trailer for Pixar’s upcoming original film offers a great look at the plot.
Today’s new Inside Out trailer starts with a scene we saw in the first teaser trailer where Riley and her parents are sitting down to dinner. Then we get into the new material – it looks like the emotions Joy and Sadness will be causing an issue when some core memories are misplaced and they accidentally separate from the other three emotions to fix the problem.
On their their own journey, Joy and Sadness stop by Imagination Land and Dream Productions, the place where all of the characters in Riley’s dreams are employed.
Inside Out takes place inside the heads of Riley and (and to a lesser extent her parent’s heads) who all just re-located to San Francisco (hence the occasional references in this trailer to discovering the new city).
How are you ‘feeling’ about ‘Inside Out’?
We think the film looks adorable and we’re starting to get a sense of the heart that Pixar places within their movies. It’s fun to watch the feelings inside your head come to life!
Inside Out hints theaters June 19, 2015 and is directed by Pete Docter. The film’s emotions are voiced by well-known funny people Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling and Phyllis Smith, who you can see in this cute “Meet the Cast” video which also debuted today:
