Pixar has released the first five character posters for their next original film Inside Out.

The Pete Docter-directed story will follow the five emotions controlling a girl who has just moved to San Francisco. The emotions – named Sadness, Joy, Fear, Disgust, and Anger – are voiced by well-known names.

Each of the five emotions is a particular vibrant color, which helps them stand out from one another.

As if the emotions weren’t appealing based on visuals alone, the cast making up the group are well-known comedians who will surely breathe great life into these characters.

Sadness voiced by Phyllis Smith

Joy voiced by Amy Poehler

Fear voiced by Bill Hader

Disgust voiced by Mindy Kaling

Anger voiced by Lewis Black

Interestingly, four out of five of these stars are members of the NBC comedy family.

The first Inside Out teaser trailer debuted last month and offers previews of each emotion. Pixar cleverly used emotional moments from their previous films to explain the characters in the upcoming movie:

Pete Docter is the director of Pixar’s Up and Monsters, Inc., so needless to say, this film is highly anticipated.

Inside Out opens June 19. The film’s synopsis follows:

“Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.”
