The other day we told you that Lionsgate had launched a new, mysterious website at TheCapitol.pn which was tied in to the “#WhatsMyDistrict” text found at the end of the The Hunger Games teaser trailer.

Now we’re learning they’re preparing a Twitter, Facebook, AND website for EACH of the districts!

While each of the Twitter and Facebook accounts for the districts is currently without any information, our guess right now is that TheCapitol.pn will be assigning each visitor a District. They will then be encouraged to ‘Like’ the selected District on Facebook and ‘Follow’ it on Twitter.

This is undoubtedly looking like a big marketing campaign and we can’t wait to see it all come to light!

What’s more, Hypable has independently verified that District1.pn, District2.pn, etc all include the following text in their WHOIS (domain registration) records:

The Capitol
The Capitol, PN
inquiries@thecapitol.pn

Given the above e-mail address is under a domain we know is owned by Lionsgate, it’s safe to assume the DistrictX.pn domains are theirs and likely part of the #WhatsMyDistrict campaign. However, the websites are currently not active.

What follows is a list of links for each district:

– District 1: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 2: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 3: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 4: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 5: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 6: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 7: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 8: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 9: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 10: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 11: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 12: Twitter | Facebook | Website
– District 13: Twitter | Facebook | Website

Fun fact: The DistrictXpn Twitter accounts were registered on August 23rd.

Thanks to Mockingjay and Down With The Capitol for the Twitter and Facebook information, which then led us to investigate possible websites.
