Don’t mind us — we’re just obsessively following the strong rumors about Universal Orlando expanding their Wizarding World theme park from Islands of Adventure into their other park Universal Studios.
The latest talk says Universal will build The Wizarding World Phase 2 in the area where Jaws currently presides, so we put together a map to show you just how far away the two parks would be were this to happen.
Jaws (which was announced to be closing just the other day) is in Universal Studios – a separate park from the Islands of Adventure/Wizarding World – so visitors would have to get a 2-park pass to experience both areas of Harry’s world.
Speaking from a business perspective, it’s a brilliant move. Universal would ensure Potter fans make it to both of their parks rather than only spending time in Islands of Adventure.
