Hypable’s shipping tournament BattleShips continues with another sudden death round. Fans of Riverdale and Stranger Things have 12 hours to battle it out once more to see who moves forward in the competition.
BattleShips is a shipping competition that we began back in 2012, and it’s been a tradition almost every year since.
Each year we pick a theme for BattleShips. We’ve put the runner-ups against each other and we had one with exclusively book ships. This year we’re going back to basics!
BattleShips 2017 is going to be all about ships on currently airing TV shows. Since it’s season finale time, that means shows that have not been cancelled for the 2017-2018 season. Sorry, The Vampire Diaries fans!
Shows that have been cancelled after BattleShips 2017 began are still eligible and won’t be removed from the competition.
Sudden Death
This round we’ve got Archie & Betty from Riverdale against Jonathan & Nancy from Stranger Things once again! Archie & Betty won the second round by just 11 votes, which means Jonathan & Nancy are eligible for a second shot with sudden death.
This is Stranger Thing‘s last chance to come back and beat out Riverdale to make it through to the next round, and this round will only last 12 hours!
