We’ve been hard at work the past few months to bring you guys a truer platform to discuss your favorite fandoms, and we’re almost to a completed forum. Now we’re searching for moderators to help the community thrive. Interested?
We’re looking for moderators to help ensure the Hypable forums are a fun, organized, and safe environment for all our readers. You’ll be moderating the sections of the fandoms you like most, so we need people interested in all sorts of things from television shows to video games and movies.
If you’d like to be a part of the forum moderation team then take a look at the expectations below.
- Reading posts in assigned section on a regular basis.
- Recognizing and deleting spam posts, and reporting users who spam.
- Monitoring the community for offensive posts and behavior. This includes:
- Spending a minimum of one to two hours a day on the forum doing the above.
- Actively checking new topics and posts through-out the day to monitor responses and changes in topic content.
- Participating in community events and activities as much as possible.
- Working with your fellow moderators as a team to manage a large amount of topics, posts, and forum members.

-Tell us your age, name, and location.
-If applicable, tell us about your previous experiences moderating or being a part of a forum community.
-Tell us your availability; if you’d be able to spend the time we need you to moderate.
-Tell us the areas of Hypable you’d like to moderate most. Moderators will be organized by TV, Movie, Music, Games, Literature, & General which encompasses non-fandom related forums. You may pick one or several for your application, but will be assigned one for the forum.
