Imprint (our Twilight podcast) co-host Pamela Gocobachi attended the Breaking Dawn Concert Tour last night in San Francisco, and here’s her fantastic report from the evening, featuring a talk with Rosalie actress Nikki Reed!

Hundreds of die-hard Twilight fans from around the Bay Area flocked to the Fillmore in San Francisco, Calif. last night for the Breaking Dawn Concert Tour.

Fans enjoyed performances by featured “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack artists Sleeping At Last, Aqualung, and Lucy Schwartz as well as appearances by Twilight Saga actors Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone and Charlie Bewley.

After the red carpet event, we caught up with Nikki Reed who’s character Rosalie Hale plays a much bigger role in “Breaking Dawn Part 1”.

Reed offered up some interesting insight on her character’s struggle with willpower in this particular film and hinted that there’s a scene in “Breaking Dawn Part 1” where Rosalie struggles with the temptation of human blood.

“I don’t know if I should [give it away] because it’s a really cool moment.” Reed said. “You don’t ever think that that’s going to be challenging for Rosalie and then there’s a moment in this movie where she almost makes the biggest mistake one could possibly make in this situation.”

Finally, Reed discussed the change in Rosalie’s relationship with Bella in this film.

When we asked her if she thought Rosalie’s intentions for helping Bella save her unborn child were selfish in nature, Reed had this to say about her character:

“It’s funny because Kristin [Stewart] and I disagree on this which I guess is appropriate and we would have genuine arguments about this! Rosalie wants a baby—it’s pretty simple. She doesn’t have bad intentions. I don’t think she’s malicious or hoping that anything horrible happens to Bella but that’s definitely where her motivation is coming from.”
