Yesterday we launched the Hypable Book Club with our first book being The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. Come check out the discussion!
The Darkest Minds is an amazing book focused on children who acquire a disease that either kills them or gives them special Psi powers. The children are rounded up into internment camps to be rehabilitated. America is in despair with an absolute ruler and chaos on every level. Ruby is the heroine of the story and we follow her as she tries to navigate the ever changing world around her and her incredibly strong powers.
The book club will primarily take place on the forums. We have set up areas for initial questions about the story, character discussion and a spoiler section for those who have read the book and want to discuss all the nuances of the book like the ending when Ruby does that thing, yeah we need to talk about that! You can find the book club discussion here you can also add your own questions to the discussion. Please note not all the characters are listed as some of them are spoilery so by the end of next week the character section will be complete!
As a follow up to the discussion in the forums we will be hosting a Book Club podcast at the end of the month. During the podcast we will be discussing some of the questions posted as well as user submitted questions. So if you haven’t read The Darkest Minds yet what are you waiting for?
