The British Board of Film Classification today approved a new trailer for The Hunger Games which clocks in at 2 minutes, 33 seconds.

This, following the Canadian Film Classification organization approving the same yet-to-be-announced trailer last week.

It received a PG rating and clocks in at 2 minutes, 33 seconds from the BBFC.

Earlier today we shared a letter from Lionsgate being sent to movie theaters asking that they include a 2 minute, 30 second The Hunger Games trailer in front of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

The only trailer we’ve seen so far is a 60-second one released a few months ago, so clearly a theatrical trailer is on the horizon.

What’s missing now is an official announcement from Lionsgate. We expect the trailer to make an exclusive online debut somewhere around the internet next week before the Friday release in theaters.

As always, we’ll keep you updated!
