Like with any new trailer for a highly-anticipated book to film adaptation, Hypable is dedicated to sharing the best moments from this morning’s Mockingjay teaser.
It’s been roughly 12 hours since the preview was released, and our heads have finally cooled down enough to process the perfection. So, we searched through the first Mockingjay teaser trailer for the moments that blew our minds most.
The most mind-blowing moments are…
Moment 1: The opening when we see the Capitol TV logo
“Oh no, this is clearly directed towards the citizens of Panem from President Snow. This can’t be good.”
Moment 2: When we see Snow’s chin with his snow-white facial hair
“Oh man, Snow is totally playing the people of Panem. Surely they don’t fall for this crap?”
Moment 3: When the 3D-like text pops out
“Please don’t tell me that Mockingjay is hitting theaters in 3D.”
Moment 4: That extreme close-up of Snow’s nose
“I said it before and I’ll say it again: Snow looks good for his age.”
Moment 5: When we see Snow’s beautiful, white chair
“Just look at that detail! Did Districts 1 and 7 come together to make this? I HATE Snow but LOVE his style.”
Moment 6: When we notice that there’s a person standing next to Snow
“Wow I can’t get over that chair – and look at that jacket! — OH MY GOD WHO IS THAT NEXT TO SNOW?”
Moment 7: When we see it’s poor Peeta
“Peeta Peeta Peeta PEETA WAKE UP. If Katniss is watching this right now she is totally in a rage spiral.”
Moment 8: When Peeta looks at you
“Snow and Peeta are looking into my soul like they are in control of me. This is the worst but also the best.”
