Though a formal Hall H panel isn’t in the cards, Lionsgate and Samsung have announced that the Mockingjay, Part 1 trailer will debut just outside the Convention Center.

On Friday, July 25, fans can go to the Samsung Experience at the Hard Rock Hotel where they’ll find an area called the Capitol Gallery. Cast members from Mockingjay (see below) will be on hand to share the “first official” The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 trailer.

Hypable will stop by this event to check out the trailer for ourselves. Check back for our coverage later that afternoon.

On the same day, Mockingjay cast members Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Elden Henson (Pollux), Mahershala Ali (Boggs), Evan Ross (Messalla), and Wes Chatham (Castor) – all newcomers to the series – will sign autographs for fans at the Lionsgate booth (#4045) from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Not in the San Diego area? On Saturday, July 26, fans across the U.S. can go to participating Best Buy stores and stop by the Samsung Experience Shop to see the same trailer preview. At these Best Buy stores you’ll also receive one free ticket to see Mockingjay in theaters this November.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering on Mockingjay 1 with a company that has the global stature of Samsung and whose innovative technologies touch every aspect of consumers’ lives around the world,” said Paula Kupfer, SVP of Consumer Products & Licensing at Lionsgate in a press release. “They are a perfect fit with our franchise, and together we envision unlimited opportunities for expanding the world of The Hunger Games in exciting and visionary ways.”

Two teaser videos have already been released over the past month. In the first, President Snow had Peeta by his side as he reminds Panem that they are one. In the second, Peeta, Johanna, and Peacekeepers stand by Snow during his message of Unity until District 13 hacks the system.

Last year Lionsgate hosted a panel for Catching Fire in Comic-Con’s largest venue and a full-length trailer debuted, so many were expecting the studio to do the same type of event for Mockingjay this year. Any chances were dashed last week when Comic-Con unveiled the full schedule.

Mockingjay, Part 1 opens in theaters this November.
