Numerous stills have been released from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, but we haven’t had a photo of Katniss Everdeen until now.

The photo depicts a scene familiar to those who remember the latest Mockingjay teaser trailer which debuted at San Diego Comic-Con.

Katniss appears to be standing amongst people of a unknown District. She’s armed with several arrows and a sharp, black suit. (And we can’t even tell that Lawrence is wearing a wig!)

The Mockingjay trailer depicts Katniss in this same setting. She is asked by one of the District’s residents if she plans to stand and fight with them. “I am. I will,” she replies (watch at the link above).

Since the book is being split into two parts, there’s a high probability that much of the first film will be set up for the grand finale in Part 2. We expect to spend a lot of time with Katniss as she tours the Districts to assess the situation and shoot footage with Cressida. It’ll be like all of the forest scenes in Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (lots of walking and talking).

Last week fans were treated to new character posters that depict several of District 13’s residents including Finnick, Haymitch, President Coin, Plutarch, and Beetee.

Mockingjay, Part 1 opens this November. Lorde is in charge of curating the film’s soundtrack and writing the first single.
