The Hunger Games: Mockingjay has added Gwendoline Christie to its cast to replace Lily Rabe in the role of Commander Lyme.

Rabe had to depart Mockingjay, Part 2 because of “a scheduling conflict with a previous commitment to Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare in the Park,” according to Deadline. She had joined the project in September of last year.

Christie, the new actress, is best known for her role as Brienne of Tarth on the HBO drama series Game of Thrones which premieres this Sunday at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. She is pictured in her role based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series in the photo above.

Fellow Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer is also a part of Mockingjay in the role of Cressida.

The character Lyme was first seen in Suzanne Collins’ Mockingjay novel when the book debuted in 2010. She is a former victor of an unknown Hunger Games tournament and a commander of District 2’s rebellion. She is known as a brave character thanks to being one of the first residents of District 2 to push back against the Capitol. Katniss interacts with her during the story. In the book she is described as over 6 feet tall and muscular.

Mockingjay has been filming since late last year under the direction of Francis Lawrence. Part 1 will hit theaters this November and Part 2 will open November 2015.

Earlier this week we shared photos from the Mockingjay set which depict a battle between Capitol residents and peacekeepers. Katniss appears in these photos as well.

Thanks, Deadline.
