A German Catching Fire television commercial includes a couple of brief but exciting new glimpses into The Hunger Games sequel.

Perhaps the best new shot is one of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) in one of their homes. Gale is laying on a table in what we assume is a scene in which he’s recovering from his whipping. We’re not sure what Katniss is saying to him, but if one of our German readers wants to translate, please hit the comments with the answer!

Update: Katniss says, “I’m going to stay right here and cause all kinds of trouble.” (Thanks, Gea!)

This scene – amongst many others – is likely one in which we see Katniss struggling between her feelings for Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Gale. Director Francis Lawrence said last month that a love triangle is present in Catching Fire, and he felt it wasn’t prominent enough in Gary Ross’ The Hunger Games.

In another new shot we see Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) in the Hunger Games’ control center where he appears to be directing an attack on some of the tributes.

It was a week ago yesterday that the final Catching Fire trailer premiered during the MLB World Series on Fox. The minute-long preview featured our first look at the Jabberjays and monkeys.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22 and is based on the book of the same name by Suzanne Collins. Last week Lionsgate offered up the chance to win tickets to 24 advanced screenings scattered across the United States (sorry, you can no longer enter to win).
