We have two interesting updates surrounding The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’s soundtrack.

First, Coldplay has announced that their song “Atlas,” which is scheduled to be the first single off the Catching Fire soundtrack, has been pushed from August 26 to September 6 (and September 8 in the United Kingdom.).

Said the band in a tweet:

If you can’t wait for the song, get a teaser by checking out the song’s lyrics.

In other Catching Fire soundtrack news, music producer Scooter Braun has seemingly revealed that Ed Sheeran and Tori Kelly will be a part of the album.

In a tweet that has since been removed, Braun wrote, “Best morning gift! @ToriKelly @edsheeran #HungerGames WOW!!!!!”

Presumably the pair recorded a new song together. Braun is a producer for artists like Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Usher.

The Catching Fire soundtrack will be released in November ahead of the film’s theatrical debut. The Hunger Games soundtrack included many big artists like Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, The Civil Wars, The Decemberists, and Miranda Lambert, so as you can imagine this follow up soundtrack should be equally impressive.

Catching Fire opens in theaters November 22.

What artists do you hope to see on the soundtrack?
