Late last week we were treated to the very first official photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Lionsgate has now released three of the stills in high-res.

The new images were a part of Entertainment Weekly’s first look at the highly-anticipated sequel hitting theaters November 22, 2013.

Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick, spoke about the sugar cube scene which is partly depicted in the photo below. Unfortunately we may not see as much of Claflin in the flesh as we hope “They did have to tone it down from what it is in the book because they can’t make it too graphic if you know what I’m saying,” he said last week. “Because it was just a knot covering his, basically, you know what I’m saying! I was definitely prepared to do anything. But the costumer said ‘Well we can’t have you in nothing’ so I’m kind of covered up. It was the scariest moment of my life. I’m on Twitter and so many people have been like ‘Don’t mess this up, or we will kill you.’”

See a few more photos at this link, which have not yet been released in high-res.

While we’re all looking forward to the film, director Francis Lawrence bummed us out a bit when he revealed which scenes were removed from the Catching Fire movie.
