Unless you have a roof over your head, no one can hide from Google Maps’ eye in the sky.

Case and point: New imagery uploaded to the site in Georgia reveals The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘s Cornucopia sitting in a manmade lake.

Reports in September of last year indicated that crews would use Clayton County, Georgia’s outdoor water park The Beach as their Cornucopia set. The location hosts a circular manmade lake which was seemingly what producers were looking for.

In the satellite imagery below, you can clearly see the Cornucopia centered in a lake. Off to the east are a few of The Beach’s water park rides. The set includes a couple walkways to get from the edge of the beach to the center of the lake.

We’ve embedded the map below. You can freely zoom in or look around the area.

UPDATE: We’ve removed the embed and photo out of respect for The Capitol.

Even though this particular set was constructed in Georgia, the large majority of filming for the Games scenes themselves were shot in Hawaii.

It remains to be seen whether Lionsgate will ask Google to take these down and revert back to the previous imagery it had. You can’t make out too much of the Cornucopia so we don’t think the studio would get in a tizzy due to spoilers.

However, those people who simply want to visit The Beach and check out the location on Google Maps may wonder why on earth there’s a giant… thing… in the middle of the lake. And for that reason, it may be a good idea for Google to take down these photos.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22, 2013.

Thanks, Mockingjay.
