You can now host your own Hunger Games while on the go. Previously only available on Facebook, The Hunger Games Adventures (the official video game for the film franchise) has been unveiled for iOS devices.

“The Hunger Games Adventures version 2.0 is a major update to all aspects of the mobile version of the game and marks the first availability of the game for iPhone,” the developer writes in a press release. “The Hunger Games Adventures was rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the latest Apple devices including stunning Retina graphics, Game Center support with achievements and improved touch controls. In addition to these major feature updates, the new version gives players hours of new official Hunger Games story-based content as a lead in to the release of the second film in the series, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, in theaters November 22, 2013.”

“Since the initial launch of The Hunger Games Adventures on Facebook in March we’ve made it our mission to give fans of The Hunger Games the ultimate fan experience.” said Sam Glassenberg, CEO of Funtactix. “This update will allow a new set of fans to step into a beautifully rendered version of the game and dive deeper into the world of Panem.”

The game has added over 100 new quests, including an “exclusive new storyline that gives players a sneak peek at District 1.”

According to the press release, for the first time the official map of Panem is revealed. This has been promised before, so we’re unsure at this time if we’re truly getting a look at the whole map or just a preview.
