After being available for only two weeks, the latest Humble Bundle, a package of eight indie games and five of their soundtracks has raised over $5 million for developers and charity.

With such a fantastic line-up of games, it’s hardly surprising that the Humble Bundle has sold so well. We reviewed the full selection (part 1, part 2), and found every game worthy of grades above C, with Psychonauts, Super Meat Boy and Bastion worthy of the A+ grade.

598,978 bundles were sold for a total of $5,106,781.98. Minecraft creator Notch and a group of charitable bronies fought it out for the largest donation. The see-saw battle ended with the bronies winning out, donating $13,167 against Notch’s $12,345.

The success of the bundle shows that PC gaming is still going strong and that indie developers have much to offer the gaming industry. It also shows the great generosity of the gaming community.

Did you purchase the bundle? What games do you hope will be included in the next Humble Bundle?
