It’s been a week since Humble Indie Bundle 6 was made available to download, and its early success has led to the addition of four new titles, taking the total retail value of the games in the bundle to $135.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER, JamestownGratuitous Space Battles and Wizorb have been added, taking the total number of games in Humble Indie Bundle 6 to ten.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER is a 30-level music based 2D platformer from Gaijin Games with a cute pixel art-style that originally released on Nintendo’s Wii.

Jamestown is a twist on top down old-school shooters with a co-op mode for up to four players. Set on Mars in the, er, 17th century, this retro-style indie game looks fast and fun to play, with plenty of collectables, difficulty levels and unlockable weapons and ships.

Gratuitous Space Battles is a strategy game with heavy elements of tower-defense, where the towers are spaceships. Positech Games has created a game with a huge depth of customisation, allowing for tacticians to use all of their cunning to outwit the enemy fleet.

The final game to be added to Humble Indie Bundle 6 is Wizorb, another game that oozes nostalgia. Tribute Games’ brick-breaker features 60 levels set in five worlds and contains some RPG elements.

It’s important to note that to obtain these games (and their soundtracks) as part of the bundle you’ll need to pay above the average, which currently stands at $6. If you have already purchased the bundle, these games will automatically be added to your download page on the Humble Indie Bundle website.

With six days remaining of the 14-day offer, around 250,000 bundles have been sold, generating a total of nearly $1.5 million for developers and charities. It’s very unlikely that Humble Indie Bundle 6 will even get close to the $5 million raised from its predecessor, but the addition of these extra games shows that this bundle has still been a great success.

Have you purchased Humble Indie Bundle 6? What do you think of the new games in the line-up?
