Get ready to see Reese Witherspoon confront some big little lies and Kerry Washington bring the scandal in Hulu’s upcoming Little Fires Everywhere adaptation.

Based on Celeste Ng’s bestselling book of the same name, Little Fires Everywhere centers on the intertwined lives and fates of the idyllic Richardson family and the mysterious mother and daughter who recently move to their Ohio town.

The Hulu adaptation was produced by Washington and Witherspoon, along with ABC Signature Studios, and has Life Unexpected’s and Casual’s Liz Tigelaar serving as creator, showrunner and executive producer.

Little Fires Everywhere stars Reese Witherspoon as Elena Richardson, a wealthy suburbanite mother and wife to Joshua Jackson’s (of The Affair fame) Bill Richardson. The Richardsons are a picture-perfect family whose lives become intertwined with Mia Warren, here played by Kerry Washington, and her daughter, played by Lexi Underwood.

Mia Warren becomes the Richardson family’s new renter who seemingly pops Elena’s idyllic bubble of suburbia. The show will explore the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood — and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.

Joining Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington and Joshua Jackson are The Last Tycoon’s Rosemarie DeWitt as Linda McCullough, Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams as Joe Ryan, The Righteous Gemstones’ Jade Pettyjohn as Lexie Richardson, and The Long Road Home’s Jordan Elsass as Trip Richardson.

Gavin Lewis (Prince of Peoria) will play Moody Richardson, Megan Stott (So Shook) will play Izzy Richardson, Lexi Underwood (The Good Doctor) will play Pearl Warren, and international Chinese actress Huang Lu plays Bebe.

Little Fires Everywhere premieres on March 18 on Hulu.
