Two reality tidbits to share with you today: America’s Got Talent season 10 will welcome back Howard Stern, while Len Goodman’s run on Dancing With the Stars season 20 will be his last.

NBC announced this morning that Stern, who joined America’s Got Talent for season 7, will be back for a fourth year in 2015.

“I decided that a life without ‘AGT’ is not a life worth living,” said Stern in a press release. “America needs a caring, compassionate and wise judge and who am I to deny the people what they want? It would be selfish of me to walk away.”

Stern frequently shares his stories from his time on the set of America’s Got Talent on his SiriusXM talk show, so we suspect that part of the reason for his return is to continue having this wealth of content to discuss.

In other reality show news, Goodman has confirmed that he will be leaving Dancing With the Stars after his landmark 20th season in order to spend more time with his family.

“Next year, I’m not going to do the flying backwards and forwards – I’m not going to do the American show… I’ve got to have a bit of time off,” Goodman said in comments obtained by Digital Spy. “I’ve got my wife, I’ve got my son, my mother is still alive and she’s in hospital – I’ve had virtually no time to go and visit her.

“So, I just need a bit of time off to get on with a normal life. And it was either Strictly [Come Dancing] went or the American one went or the tour went… I’m doing the spring one when I go out there… and that’s going to be my last one.”

Goodman currently spends his career flying back and fourth between America and England to film both shows, so you can imagine the time commitment that such a rigorous schedule requires.
