If you find yourself itching to saddle back up with Hiccup and Toothless, satiate your itch with these seven spoilers from the first hour of How To Train Your Dragon 2.

Hypable had the opportunity to see the first hour of Dreamworks’ upcoming animated 3D film How To Train Your Dragon 2 at Downtown Disney’s AMC theater over the weekend. If you’re looking to keep everything in the movie a surprise, turn back now!

Hiccup wields a mystical fire sword

This thing is even cooler than a light saber. Although it’s not mentioned where he gets it from, we can assume it had something to do with Toothless’ help at the blacksmith’s.

‘Hiccstrid’ is five years old and going strong

The power couple is happy, healthy, and enjoyable. Nowadays, Astrid puts Viking braids in Hiccup’s hair, but continues her gut-punch-then-kiss skit.

The baddie in this movie is brutal

Although we were cut off from his final battle against those of Berk, we witnessed plenty of the film’s antagonist. Bad guy Drago Bludvist not only wears a fireproof dragon cloak, but initiated a coldblooded massacre upon someone close to Hiccup long ago.

Hiccup’s mom and dad reunite

And sing. And dance. It’s lovely, touching, and as beautiful as you would’ve imagined. Check out the trailer for a preview.

Virtually everyone rides dragons around town

Stoick’s is as large as you’d imagine. Valka couldn’t seem to settle down on one, so she takes on, like, all the dragons. Ever.

Ruffnut falls in love with the enemy

Kristen Wiig has great material to work off of in How To Train Your Dragon 2. After tirelessly fending off Fishlegs and Snoutlot, she finds the man of her dreams while dragon pirate Erit (Kit Harington) captures her in a catapulted net trap. Her slow-motion “take meeeee” is hilarious, and sets up a great comedy romance.

The giant ice dragon is the king of all dragons

He’s BIG. He also created a giant Elsa-like castle to house all of Valka’s rescued dragons. Aw, what a nice dragon king!

Overall, the first hour of the film was a thrill to watch and we’re looking forward to seeing the full film in two months.
