Dreamworks will give away a poster for How to Train Your Dragon 2 at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and our first look at the gorgeous art was unveiled by the film’s director yesterday.

Dean Deblois appeared on DreamWorks’ Vine account (a video sharing service) to proudly hold up the How to Train Your Dragon 2 poster. It looks like he’s standing in a recording studio where they’re probably recording voices for the highly-anticipated sequel.

Watch Deblois’ Vine below:

The How to Train Your Dragon 2 poster depicts Hiccup and Toothless flying through the Viking skies. The art was designed by Drew Struzan. It carries the same theme we saw in the first trailer for the film last week in which Hiccup debuts a new skill – you must watch it.

We’re hoping this beautiful poster is released online, but so far it hasn’t surfaced. Maybe it’ll hit the ‘net after it gets its time to shine exclusively at Comic-Con beginning tomorrow.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 opens in theaters in 3D on June 20, 2014. We’re glad to see DreamWorks is busy getting promotion started on the film this early. The wild success of the first movie has left fans really excited for the sequel.

How to Train Your Dragon is aiming to become a trilogy. If the franchise continues to be successful, don’t be shocked if a fourth or fifth film enters development (a long ways from now).

The sequel will find Hiccup and Toothless several years after the original, meaning Hiccup has become more of a heartthrob in the Viking world.
