Not a U2 fan? Didn’t care for the free album the band pushed into your iTunes library last week? Here’s how to remove it.

Amid cries from the community since its debut in everyone’s personal iTunes libraries last week, Apple has announced a simple way to delete U2’s Songs of Innocence.

All you have to do is click here and follow the easy instructions. Keep in mind that once you remove the album, there’s no take backs unless you pay for it when it’s released to the rest of the world next month.

The band’s latest studio album was released for free exclusively to Apple customers last Tuesday in what was called the biggest release in history. The move shocked fans of U2 in the best way possible, while those who don’t like the band were upset that they were forced to hold onto Songs of Innocence in their library. Apple decided to create a removal tool only after the outcry.

This writer is a big fan of U2 and welcomed the free album, but can I get some free concert tickets too?
