Instagram Stories has been a huge hit for the photo app, but you can’t give them too much credit for its success since it’s one big Snapchat ripoff.

Instagram Stories and Snapchat work the same way — you post a series of photos and/or videos to the app, and people can view them for 24 hours. Both apps have filters, stickers, masks, etc — All things that Snapchat gave us first.

But this week, Instagram is finally introducing a feature that they didn’t take from Snapchat: Polls in stories!

This new Instagram Stories feature lets you poll your viewers within a photo or video during the course of your story’s 24-hour lifespan. Viewers can easily tap one poll option or the other, and you and your followers can see the results in real time.

Instagram lets you view exactly who voted for what, in case you trust certain followers more than others:

Adding a poll is as easy as adding a Hashtag or Sticker. The feature is available in iOS and Android beginning today after you download the latest update.

Whether you’re making a serious poll or just messing with people (we guess it’ll mostly be the latter. Who wants to wait around for their friends to tell them what kind of pizza or donut to eat?), we’re sure this will be a popular feature.
