The Broadway run of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in New York City will let you buy tickets for cheap every Friday!

The show’s producers have announced that the Friday Forty program that’s been running over on London’s West End will carry over to Broadway. Every Friday at 1:00 PM ET, 40 tickets will be released for “some of the very best seats” in the theatre at $40. The tickets will be for consecutive performances only, meaning that roughly 160 cheap Cursed Child tickets are going on sale every week!

The Friday Forty works similar to any Broadway show’s standard lottery program. You’ll be able to enter for a chance to purchase the dirt-cheap tickets every Friday beginning at 12:01 AM ET until 1:00 PM ET on TodayTix.com or their app. Winners will be notified between 1:00 PM ET and 5:00 PM ET.

You’ll only have to cough up $40 total — meaning $20 per part, per person. The tickets are only for consecutive performances, meaning you’ll be seeing the entire show (which runs for over 5 hours) in one day. The consecutive performances take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Friday Forty begins next Friday, March 9, 2018, beginning at 12:01 AM ET. Good luck to all who enter over the course of the show’s run!

The official synopsis for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child reads: “It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and the father of three school-age children.

“While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.”

The Cursed Child enters previews beginning March 16, 2018 before its official opening April 22, 2018.
