One more safe member of the Keating 5 has been revealed in How to Get Away with Murder season 3, episode 6, “Is Someone Really Dead.” Is it who you hoped it would be?

There are only two episodes remaining until we discover who didn’t make it out of Annalise’s home unscathed, and there are still a few noteworthy absences from our “safe and sound” list. Connor, Wes, Frank, and Nate are all unaccounted for, and we’re definitely curious.

This week’s episode is all about Annalise getting back to work, Bonnie trying to get back into Annalise’s good graces, Simon Drake trying to move on after his outing as the flyer guy, and everyone else just moving forward in their lives. Check out the more interesting bits below and let us know if you are happy with this week’s revealed survivor.

Defending a soldier

Annalise is back at work and this week her class is defending a veteran what sliced a guy’s throat open at a club. While some weeks the case the class is working directly correlates to other things going on in these crazy episodes, this one remains a bit more vague. It seems like this is just a way for us to see Annalise get her feet back underneath her. It’s also nice to see her and Bonnie working together again.

We do see Annalise use the soldier’s own lies to get her out of trouble, which is just the kind of antics you expect from Annalise Keating and her brood. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Annalise’s troubles, but I wouldn’t hold your breath just yet.

Michaela’s fun new hobby

We also saw Michaela using Simon Drake as her own personal punching bag thanks to the reveal that he’s the “Killer” flyer maker. We’re all for Michaela taking out her anger on someone other than Asher, but some of the things she says to Drake seem downright mean. He definitely shouldn’t have been putting up those flyers (did we ever really learn why he was doing it?), but does he deserve her brand of punishment?

Considering that while in court he turns to Michaela to tell her that he’s coming for her, I’m a little curious as to what kind of role he might possibly play in Annalise’s house burning down. Could he have it out for Michaela so badly that he goes after her friends and mentor?

Getting back to work

While trying to defend her client in court by questioning the victim on the witness stand, Annalise is cut off again and again by the prosecutions objections. The judge sustains each and every one. You can practically see the blood beginning to boil in Ms. Keating’s veins. You start to wonder if the judge has it out for Annalise as badly as the prosecutor does, but I’m not sure she does. Each objection had grounds to be sustained, and the judge was just calling it as she saw fit.

Hopefully Annalise’s future cases will go a little easier on her, but it’s not looking good. She may not be on suspension at Middleton University any longer, but the conditions set forth by the court for the reinstatement of her license to practice law are definitely going to crimp her style for a while. Things will just have to appear to be above board for a while.

Laurel and Wes

So, these two have been dancing around each other for quite a bit of How to Get Away with Murder season 3 so far. We’ve watched as Laurel has tried to put Frank behind her once and for all, despite still kind of being on his side, and we’ve seen how she looks at Wes when he’s not looking. It’s actually been quite adorable. Well, all those longing looks are probably at an end.

That’s right, folks, Wes and Laurel did the dirty. Could he be the father of her child? It seems plausible at this point. Does this put Wes in danger of being the body under the sheet? After all, Annalise did seem absolutely distraught at the reveal herself, and she’s put everything on the line for Wesley since day one.

If you want to do a little more pondering of Laurel and her baby’s daddy, make sure to check out this article which discusses the point a little more in depth.

Asher and Michaela

This week, we got a chance to see how these two lovebirds are relating in both the present and the past on How to Get Away with Murder. We start the episode with Michaela trying frantically to get ahold of Asher on the phone after learning that a body was discovered in Annalise’s burning house. She runs over to his dorm room in a panic, praying that he’s okay.

In the past storyline, we watch these two separate and reunite once Asher reveals just how much Michaela means to him. She was definitely starting to abhor his possessive issues, but once she learns that he sees their relationship as his only remaining kind of family, she goes soft for the lovable miscreant. Who wouldn’t?

Oliver’s big date

Because we are all emotionally invested in how this Connor/Oliver separation works out, it’s important to note that Oliver goes out on his first real date post-Connor. He has a good time and makes some very Oliver-like blunders, but it’s still hard for us to see him kissing anyone who isn’t Connor. Can we please just get our most functional couple back together already? Connor is definitely missing his boo.

In the clear

And this week’s revealed How to Get Away with Murder season 3 survivor is none other than… Asher Millstone!

That’s right folks, Michaela finds her boy drunkenly dancing on tables in his dorm. She’s quick to scold him for not answering his phone. We’re glad that Asher isn’t the one under the sheet because who could possibly replace the man, the myth, the one-man show that is Asher Millstone? He’s a character all his own and we love him for it.

Who do you think is under the sheet after ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ 2×06?
